ATLANTA LAUNDRY PROJECT

Hi, Billy Mays III here!

I am so excited and honored to be officially launching the Atlanta chapter of the Laundry Project by Current Initiatives this coming November, right here in my own neighborhood of East Atlanta Village.

As you may already know, one of my dad’s catchphrases was “Long Live Your Laundry!” so I’ve always felt drawn to this cause as a very specific way to use his energy to help people in a tangible way. I’ve volunteered at a few projects over the years and I truly believe in the work of Current Initiatives. Clean laundry is a basic (and often overlooked) expense and I’m all for anything that helps alleviate the burden of financial stress of families and individuals from all walks of life.

Any and all support is appreciated and will ensure that we can keep growing this little support system for our community.
